Well Played, Secretary Clinton
At this point nearly every reputable marker anyone can point to proves Donald Trump is not only losing the race for the White House, but overall is performing poorly in public. Take the billionaire’s disastrous performance at Thursday night’s iconic Al Smith Dinner, where he became one of the very few presidential candidates ever to be booed by Manhattan high society.
Of course, as RealClearPolitics shows, only one major pollster has Trump beating or tying Hillary Clinton since the start of the month.Â
Then there’s the fact that Trump lost each of the three presidential debates, according to actual credible polls, not the online ones anyone can vote in as many times as they want. According to the CNN/ORC poll of those who actually watched the third debate, Clinton beat Trump by 13 points, 52-39. The other two CNN/ORC polls show Clinton winning the first and second debates as well.
But leave it to Trump to try to fool his supporters into think he’s doing great and will win next month:
Booed at the Al Smith Dinner, losing the debates, but claims, “I WON!” he tweets Friday afternoon.
Hillary Clinton decided to troll Trump. Actually, double-troll Trump, mocking him by slyly pointing out that he performed terribly in both venues:
