GOP Doesn’t Want You to Watch the VP Debate – They’ve Already Announced That Pence Has Won

One More Screw Up

The Republican National Committee early Tuesday evening, hours before the vice presidential debate even began, has already declared Governor Mike Pence the winner, and even detailed his “top moments from the debate.” Apparently, a pre-written press release announcing the GOP’s post-debate spin was published on the RNC’s official website.

The politics editor for the right-leaning Independent Journal Review discovered the RNC’s error:

Green posted the text of the RNC’s “story”:

Americans from all across the country tuned in to watch the one and only Vice Presidential debate. During the debate we helped fact check and monitor the conversation in real time @GOP. The consensus was clear after the dust settled, Mike Pence was the clear winner of the debate.

Highlighting Hillary’s scandals

Mike Pence made the most of his opportunity to debate Hillary’s VP pick Tim Kaine. The other clear winner from tonight’s debate was Donald Trump. His running mate perfectly shared Trump’s vision to make America great again and that message is resonating with Americans all across the country.

Just one day ago the RNC’s chief strategist and communications director, Sean Spicer, posted a tweet bragging about a new official RNC ad, describing it as a “Willie Horton style” attack ad – something that’s only complimentary if you’re a racist.
