Campaign Imploding So Badly Trump Just Canceled Tonight’s Appearance on Fox News With Sean Hannity
For Trump to Cancel an Interview With His Top Supporter Means His Campaign Is in Hot Water
Donald Trump’s top cheerleader at Fox News for months has Sean Hannity. For his part, the Fox News host has maintained he is not a journalist, only a radio and TV host, which he insisted allowed him to actually appear in an ad endorsing the GOP nominee.
There is literally no public media figure supportive of Trump’s campaign than Sean Hannity.
Donald Trump – in the wake of a dozen women over the past day or so coming forward claiming Trump sexually assaulted or otherwise behaved inappropriately with them – just canceled his appearance on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show tonight.
Trump has not held a press conference in months, and has not given interviews to any other network except Fox (with the possible exception of after the recent presidential debates, we’d have to check) for months.
For him to cancel an interview with his top supporter means his campaign is truly in hot water.
Here’s how some on Twitter responded to the news:
When Sean Hannity is going to be too tough of an interview for Donald Trump …

If Trump won’t even appear on Hannity is he done giving interviews for good? https://t.co/WNhiNi8bEG

“mr trump why can’t i come in the bunker?”
“this is for your own good, sean”
*hannity cries* https://t.co/u0aGaqGj0k— Oliver Willis (@owillis) October 13, 2016
Trump cancels tonight’s appearance on #Hannity – the safest space he has? Interesting.

Trump cancelling on Hannity is the death rattle. Maybe he really will drop out of the race.

Sean Hannity was Trump’s lifeline. His constant. His bae. Now Trump just canceled on him when things got tough. Some loyalty that is. Sad!

I guess Trump knows it’s not a good idea to be on a show about sex assault allegations, even with Hannity moderating https://t.co/fwfHTnUJ3B

@benshapiro If Trump can’t even appear on Hannity, it’s his campaign that’s imploded.https://t.co/sBAUYxPQIU
