“Did you use that $916 million loss to avoid paying personal federal income taxes?” Anderson Cooper, the debate moderator, asked Trump.
“Of course I do, of course I do,” Trump responded.
Trump in 1995 declared a nearly one billion dollar loss, The New York Times reported, which allowed him to possibly not pay federal taxes for 18 years.
“Can you say how many years you have avoided paying personal federal income taxes?” Cooper followed up.Â
Trump would not say: “No, but I pay tax and pay federal tax, too.”

Trump just boasted -again- about not paying federal income taxes. And he’s implying that it is Hillary’s fault.
A mess. #Debate

Trump basically admits that he’s not paying federal taxes. Blue Star families like ours don’t appreciate him stiffing our troops.

“A lot of my write-off was depreciation”
Very important line.
Trump admits that his “loss” was just a ploy to avoid taxes.

I think Trump just admitted he used his $917 m loss so he didn’t to pay federal taxes for 18 years.
