Who’s Better Suited to be America’s Commander in Chief? Watch Live.
Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump take to the stage at 8 PM EDT Wednesday evening. NBC News is billing this pre-debate event as the Commander in Chief Forum. Candidates will not appear on stage together. Clinton, who lost the coin toss, will go first, Trump will follow.Â
“Today” show co-host Matt Lauer (not MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, who literally wrote the book on tonight’s subject) will moderate.
The event takes place at New York City’s Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.

Trump is vastly unprepared to be Commander in Chief, so the media has already given him a pass, stating as long as he doesn’t say anything ridiculous he will have won.Â
