WATCH: Clinton Slams Trump for Appearing on Russian-Funded TV and Praising ‘Autocrat’ Putin

Democratic Nominee Says Trump’s ‘Reality Television Show’ Campaign ‘Not a Serious’ One

Hillary Clinton Friday afternoon, concluded a press conference but paused and came back when a reporter asked her if she had a response to Donald Trump “appearing on Russian-funded television.” Trump Thursday night gave an interview on RT America, the Russian propaganda arm of the Kremlin.

The former secretary of state slowly raised her right arm as her eyes widened and she shook her head as if in disbelief. The press corps broke out into laughter as Clinton came back, smiling.

“Every day that goes by, this just becomes more and more of a reality television show. It’s not a serious presidential campaign,” Clinton, appearing almost stunned by the antics and comments of her Republican opponent, responded.

“It is beyond one’s imagination to have a candidate for president praising a Russian autocrat like Vladimir Putin,” Clinton said, pausing momentarily to search for the best word to describe the Russian dictator. “And, throwing his lot in with him, in the way that he has approved of his wish list, and not even understanding what Putin has already done, like invading and occupying Crimea.”
