‘Does Not Constitute His Medical Records’
Donald Trump has released a letter from his doctor that states he is in “excellent physical health.” The letter, by the same physician that released a letter stating Trump would be the healthiest person ever to be president, Harold Bornstein, M.D., is only one page and offers little details.
“He takes a lipid lowering agent (rosuvastatin) and a low dose aspirin. He does not use tobacco products or alcohol,†the letter states.
“Mr. Trump was hospitalized only once, as a child of 11 years old for an appendectomy,†it notes.
The Washington Post makes clear: the letter “does not constitute his medical records nor does it give extensive detail about past health matters.”
On Wednesday, Hillary Clinton released a letter from her physician updating previously released information. It was two pages and far more detailed than Trump’s.
