Donald Trump made those remarks about Alicia Machado, the first winner of the Miss Universe crown after he bought the organization.
Trump spent a year fat-shaming Machado, calling her “Miss Piggy” because she had gained weight, and “Miss Housekeeping,” because she is Latina.
“She was the worst we ever had. The worst, the absolute worst,” he told “Fox & Friends” on Tuesday after Hillary Clinton cleaned his clock at the first 2016 presidential debate, during which she brought up Machado to a very defensive Trump.

The New Yorker, which has been publishing since 1925, for next week’s cover put Donald Trump in Alicia Machado’s shoes. Iconic illustrator Barry Blitt created this image for the weekly magazine’s cover story.
“Watching the debate,” The New Yorker’s Françoise Mouly writes, Blitt “recognized a significant moment in the Presidential campaign. Of all Trump’s dangerous beliefs, Blitt said, his misogyny ‘might just be his Achilles’ heel.'”
It’s certainly one of them.Â
