Right-Wingers Attack Clinton for Leaving 9/11 Event Early, Claim “She Isn’t Healthy”
Minor Incident Gives New Life to Conspiracy Theories About Democratic Nominee’s Health
Right-wingers are already seizing on the fact that Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton left a 9/11 memorial ceremony early on Sunday because she wasn’t feeling well.Â
“Hillary fainting episode underscores two truths: (1) she isn’t healthy; (2) she and her defenders were lying or obfuscating about (1),” conservative columnist Ben Shapiro wrote on Twitter.Â
A Clinton campaign spokesman said Clinton left after 90 minutes and went to her daughter’s apartment because she was “feeling overheated,” but is now “feeling much better.”Â

After traveling to her daughter’s apartment, Clinton emerged about an hour later and waved to reporters.Â
“I’m feeling great, it’s a beautiful day in New York,” she said.Â
Several reporters said it was extremely muggy in New York City this morning, but not surprisingly, that hasn’t stopped Clinton’s opponents from continuing to peddle conspiracy theories about her health.Â
Meanwhile, there is little information about GOP nominee Donald Trump’s health outside of a letter his doctor crafted in five minutes while he waited in a limo.Â
Shameful.Â

It is currently 82 degrees and 40 percent humidity in NYC. Let’s stop pretending it was an oven out there. Something is wrong.

Not clear why Clinton had to go 3 miles away to cool off. Aren’t there closer places?https://t.co/zGTwYjZnko

If @HillaryClinton‘s “feeling much better now” shouldn’t she be saying that & answering questions rather than hiding in Chelsea’s apartment?

I’m not a doctor, but I know something about weather. It was downright muggy this morning in NYC. Last night I said “feels like Miami.”
