Man Who Wishes Rape on Reporter Is Trump Supporter, Now Forced to Withdraw as Candidate

West Deptford, New Jersey Republican Mike Krawitz on Facebook issued a stunning message of hate to a Daily Beast reporter on Monday: “F*ck. You, Olivia.  I. Hope. Somebody. Rapes. You. Today.” After that, Krawitz posted, “Hope. You. Get. Raped. By. A. Syrian. Refugee. :)”

Daily Beast reporter Olivia Nuzzi is the Olivia he mentions. 

Nuzzi posted his messages to Twitter:

Nuzzi responded to Krawitz’s claims that his account was hacked by reporting an example of his earlier attacks. 

In a column at The Daily Beast, Nuzzi says Krawitz has been harassing her since at least last year. And she doubts his claim his account was hacked. 

Krawitz, who was a Republican candidate running for the Township Committee, today resigned via a strange, handwritten note:

Sadly, Nuzzi is used to this treatment.

“In my two-plus years at The Daily Beast, I’ve mostly been assigned to cover Republican candidates, so the majority of feedback (read: hate mail) I get is from readers who sympathize with those candidates,” she writes. “Supporters of Rand Paul called me a ‘bimbo troll,’ while defenders of a white supremacist running for office labeled me a ‘plastic surgery addict’ and ‘probable jewess.'”
