FBI Corruption Complaint Against Pam Bondi Filed by Democratic Group Over Trump Pay to Play Donation

‘Uncovered Over $635,000 in Questionable Contributions to Bondi’s Campaign While Her Office Was Considering a Case Against Trump University’

An anti-Trump group has filed a complaint asking the FBI to investigate a $25,000 donation from Donald Trump to Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi. Bondi asked the Manhattan billionaire for the contribution and after it was received, she or her office decided to not launch an investigation into Trump University, which is widely believed to have been scamming its own students.

The Democratic Coalition Against Trump says it “uncovered over $635,000 in questionable contributions to Bondi’s campaign while her office was considering a case against Trump University.”

“Donald Trump and his family made well over $635,000 in questionable contributions to Pam Bondi’s campaigns, and she either failed or refused to take a hard look at the alleged fraud her [sic] perpetrated against the citizens of Florida,” Scott Dworkin, Senior Advisor to the Coalition, said in a statement, as LawNewz reports.

Trump also made a $35,000 donation to the campaign of now-Governnor Greg Abbott of Texas. The former head of a consumer protection agency who reported to Abbott says he was told to drop the investigation into Trump University.
