GOP Vice Presidential Nominee Promised Last Weekend to Release Them This Week
Mike Pence is expected to release his tax returns within hours, MSNBC has just reported. Pence last weekend promised that he would release them this week.
He also promised Donald Trump would be releasing his own tax returns, but could not state when that would happen.
“Donald Trump and I are both going to release our tax returns,†Pence told NBC’s Chuck Todd. “I’ll release mine in the next week.â€
Hillary Clinton has released three decades of taxes and financial reporting documents. Her running mate, Tim Kaine, released ten years of taxes last month.
Donald Trump has continually refused to release his tax returns, claiming he is under an IRS audit. An IRS audit does not preclude him or anyone from making their returns public.
