BREAKING: Golf Legend Arnold Palmer Dies At 87

“The King” Passes On Same Day Baseball Lost One Of Its Bright Young Stars

Arnold Palmer, considered one of the greatest golfers in history, died at 87 on Sunday. 

Palmer won 62 PGA Tour titles from 1955 to 1973, which puts him fifth on the all-time victory list, according to Golfweek. He also won seven majors between 1958 and 1964. 

Palmer’s death capped a tragic day in the sports world. 

Florida Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez, considered one of the top young players in Major League Baseball, died early Sunday in a boating accident. He was just 24.
