Breaking: Arrest Warrant Issued for Tulsa Police Officer in Shooting Death of Terence Crutcher

Will Be Charged With First-Degree Manslaughter

An arrest warrant has been issued for Tulsa, Oklahoma police officer Betty Shelby, who will be charged with first-degree manslaughter in the shooting death of Terence Crutcher. Crutcher, an unarmed 40-year old Black man, was shot with his hands up, according to video.

“A warrant has been issued for her arrest,” district attorney Stephen Kunzweiler said at a press conference minutes ago. He also said, as Raw Story reports, “arrangements are being made for her surrender to the Tulsa County Sheriffs Department.”
