‘It’s Personal’: Chilling Exposé Reveals When and Why Trump Decided to Run For President

April 30, 2011. That’s the night that Donald Trump decided to run for president, and he did so for revenge. So surmises an upcoming episode of PBS’s award-winning “Frontline” titled, “Inside the Night President Obama Took On Donald Trump.”

“This was intolerable for Donald Trump,” Michael D’Antonio, author of The Truth About Trump, says. “It’s personal. This is a burning personal need that he has to redeem himself for being humiliated by the first Black president.”

“I think this is the night that he resolves to run for president. I think that he is motivated by it. ‘Maybe I’ll just run. Maybe I’ll show them all,'” top Trump confidant and former advisor Roger Stone tells “Frontline.”

Omarosa, who met Trump as a contestant during the first season of “The Apprentice.”

As President Obama was “hammering” Trump, Omarosa tells “Frontline,” she says she remembers thinking, “Oh, Barack Obama is starting something that I don’t know if he’ll be able to finish.”

“Every critic, every detractor, will have to bow down to President Trump,” Omarosa says. “It’s everyone who’s ever doubted Donald, who ever disagreed, who ever challenged him. It is the ultimate revenge to become the most powerful man in the universe.”
