Breitbart News Chief Now Running Trump Campaign Ran One of the Most Anti-LGBT, Racist, Far-Right, and Nastiest Publications in America

A new ad highlighting headlines from the website Breitbart has just been released. For over a minute two people, a woman and a man, read aloud the vicious headlines from what is arguably one of the nastiest, anti-LGBT, racist, far-right and alt-right publications in America. 

Steve Bannon stepped down as head of Breitbart earlier this month to officially run Trump’s campaign in yet another re-tooling of the flailing enterprise, and now the DNC has seized the opportunity to expose what Donald Trump sees as “news.” From almost the very start of Trump’s presidential bid, many questioned just how close Breitbart and Trump were. According to Buzzfeed, reporters at Breitbart complained they were not allowed to write negative pieces about Trump, and some thought Trump was secretly paying Breitbart.

What is Breitbart “News”?

“’Would you rather your child had feminism or cancer?’” is the first headline the woman reads aloud. “‘The solution to online ‘harassment’ is simple: Women should log off.’”

“’Trump: I’m too smart to imply Megyn Kelly was on her period,’” is another headline. She adds, “Pretty sure we knew what you meant, Donald.”

“Gabby Giffords: the gun control movement’s human shield.”

“’Big gay hate machine closes Christian pizza parlor,” is the first headline the man reads. “‘Climate expert: Marxist, global warming extremists control Vatican,’” is the next.

“’Dear straight people: ‘I’m officially giving you…,” the man says, stopping. “What is wrong with these people?,” he asks. The rest of the headline is “permission to say gay, faggot, and queer.”

Calling it “way too offensive,” and fed up, the woman refuses to read aloud the next Breitbart headline: “Tra—–s whine about hilarious Bruce Jenner billboard.”
