Lauds His Own ‘Guts’ to Run for President
Donald Trump during one of his first speeches to supporters since the Democratic National Convention ended, complained Monday afternoon that he believes the general election for president will be “rigged.”
Acknowledging that Bernie Sanders lost to Hillary Clinton, Trump added the Vermont Independent should not have “made a deal,” presumably with his Democratic opponent.
“First of all it was rigged,” Trump claimed, offering zero proof, of the Democratic primaries.Â
“And I’m afraid the election’s going to be rigged, I have to be honest,” Trump continued. “I hear more and more that o November 8 – can you believe we’re almost here? This started on June 16 of last year, and I said, ‘Wow, let’s go do this. Takes guts to do this, believe me,” Trump said, patting himself on the back.
