This Fox News (Yes, Fox News) Poll Shows Clinton Beating Trump by Huge Margins on Nearly Every Topic

Overall Clinton Is Beating Trump by 10 Points but That’s Not the Big News

A just-released Fox News poll shows Hillary Clinton beating Donald Trump by ten points, 49 percent to 39 percent. Ordinarily, most people would stop reading right there but don’t, because the rest of the results are even more stunning.

Clinton beats Trump (and by huge margins) on: 

Immigration 51% – 44%

Climate change 59% – 28%

Race relations 60% – 32%

Education 58% – 35%

Drug addiction 54% – 35%

Foreign policy 55% – 39%

Health care 53% – 42%

Making decisions about using nuclear weapons 56% – 34%

Looking out for you and your family during tough economic times 51% – 40%

Nominating the next Supreme Court justice 51% – 43%

Preserving and protecting the Constitution of the United States 49% – 42%

On the question of being qualified to be president, Clinton beats Trump 65% to 43%

On “temperament,” Clinton beats Trump 64% to 37%

On knowledge, Clinton beats Trump 72% to 40%

The only issues where Trump ties with or beats Clinton are:

Terrorism and national security 47% – 47%

Restoring trust in government 43% – 43%

The federal deficit 44% – 49%

The economy 45% – 50%

Destroying terrorist groups like ISIS 42% – 51%

And they’re evenly matched on “ honest and trustworthy”: Yes: 36%, No: 61% (Clinton), 62% (Trump)

Now the bad news for the Clinton camp: poll respondents ranked “Terrorism & national security” and “The economy and jobs” as their top two most-important issues – and Trump ties Clinton on terrorism and beats Clinton on the economy and jobs.
