President Challenges Republicans to Drop Support for GOP Nominee

President Barack Obama says Donald Trump is “unfit to be president.”

“I think the Republican nominee is unfit to serve as president,” Obama told reporters at a joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Hsien Loong. “He keeps on proving it,” the President added.

“The notion that he would attack a Gold Star family that made such extraordinary sacrifices on behalf of our country, the fact that he doesn’t appear to have basic knowledge of critical issues in Europe, the Middle East, in Asia, means that he’s woefully unprepared to do this job,” Obama said.

“There has to be a point at which you say, ‘Enough,'” Pres. Obama also said, as he urged Republican leaders to drop their support for the Republican presidential nominee.
