NYC ‘Stands Firmly Against Any Unpermitted Erection’: Parks Dept Defends Naked Trump Statue Removal

Well-Played?

The New York City Parks Dept. had some fun Thursday afternoon when it removed a life-sized statue of a naked Donald Trump from its famous Union Square park on 14th Street.

The statues have appeared in cities across the nation, from Seattle to San Francisco, and from Los Angeles to Cleveland to New York.

The statues, the AP reports, are “the brainchild of an activist collective called INDECLINE, which has spoken out against Trump before.”

So how did the NYC Parks Dept. “win the internet” today?
