Former President of Mexico on Trump Speech: ‘He’s Lying’ (Video)

Felipe Calderón Joins Fellow Former Mexican President in Attacking Trump

“He’s lying.”

That how former Mexican President Felipe Calderón described a speech Donald Trump just concluded delivering from Mexico City with the current President of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto.

Calderón, like the vast majority of Mexicans, has a very low opinion of the Republican nominee for president, labeling him several times in a CNN interview a “hypocrite.”

In his short remarks to reporters Wednesday afternoon, Trump told Pres. Peña he considers him “a friend,” even though on the day he launched his campaign Trump had said, Mexico “is not our friend, believe me. When Mexico sends its people, it is not sending its best, it is sending people that have lots of problems.”

“They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they’re rapists, and some I assume are good people, but I speak to border guards and they tell us what we are getting,” Trump said in June of 2015.
