Trump Advisor Slams Media: Clinton ‘Should Be Shot in a Firing Squad for Treason’ Not ‘Assassinated’

Al Baldasaro Furious ‘Liberal Media’ Misquoted Him, Wants America to Know He Never Said ‘Assassinate’

New Hampshire state Rep. Al Baldasaro is furious with the “liberal media,” and he wants the record set straight. The Republican who chairs Donald Trump’s national veterans’ coalition and advises the GOP presidential candidate on veterans’ issues on Tuesday made clear his intentions.

“The liberal media took what I said and went against the law and the Constitution and ran with it, and they said that I wanted her assassinated, which I never did,” Baldasaro (photo, far right, with hat) told The Republican/MassLive.com on Tuesday. “I said I spoke as a veteran, and she should be shot in a firing squad for treason.”

Baldasaro made hi original remarks last month, and has been under intense pressure ever since. He says he believes Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server was treasonous.

“That’s aiding and abetting the enemy by those emails on letting [out] names of Secret Service special agents, our veterans, on those emails,” Baldasaro told The Republican/MassLive.com, despite there being no evidence Clinton was hacked.

According to the outspoken Trump advisor, shooting Clinton in a firing squad for treason apparently is reasonable, despite there having been no charges, trial, or judgment. It is “in black and white,” he claims falsely.

“If people are that stupid and don’t understand, that’s not my fault,” Baldasaro said. “What you in the liberal media consider rhetoric, I consider freedom of speech.”
