Watch Live Now: GOP Convention – Trump Accepts Nomination – Who Knows What The Heck Else May Happen!
Trump Accepts Nomination, Peter Thiel Tells GOP to Stop Attacking LGBT People, Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr. to Speak
Tonight is the fourth and final evening of the 2016 Republican National Convention. Donald Trump will deliver what has been rumored to be both a very “presidential” speech, and a very hyper-distopian, dark, nationalistic speech, and even Pat Buchanan (racist) and Nixonian (yes, that Nixon) speech as he formally accepts the Republican nomination.Â
Trump speech tonight is the *full* Buchanan. Very very dark, dystopic. Straight up nationalism no chaser.

Trump found inspiration in Nixon’s 1968 acceptance speech, Manafort told @bpolitics. It’s on now on @cspan

Other speakers tonight include Jerry Falwell, Jr., President of Liberty University and evangelical leader, U.S Representative Marsha Blackburn (TN-7), Governor Mary Fallin of Oklahoma, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus, and Silicon Valley CEO Peter Thiel, who is expected to both tell the delegates he is a “proud gay man,” and berate them for not treating LGBT people as equal. It is unknown just how strenuously he will object to the decades of hate and homophobia the GOP, conservatives, and the religious right have spewed onto LGBT people.
