Her Entrance Was Great, Her Speech Even Better

Elizabeth Banks made a grand entrance on to the stage of the Democratic National Convention, by parodying Donald Trump’s smoke-filled shadowed “We Are the Champions” entrance last week at the Republican National Convention. 

Banks’ mocking of Donald Trump was great but her speech after was even better.

“Some of you know me from the ‘Hunger Games,'” Banks sad, “in which I play Effie Trinket, a cruel, out-of-touch reality TV star who wears insane wigs while delivering long-winded speeches to a violent dystopia. So when I tuned in to Cleveland last week, I was like, ‘Uh, hey, that’s my act!,’” she quipped.

The Emmy-nominated actress went on to explain why she supports Hillary Clinton, whom she says rocks her world.
