On June 12, 2016, 49 people were shot dead at the gay nightclub in Orlando, and another 53 were injured. It was the deadliest hate crime in American history, the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history, and the deadliest terror attack since 9/11.
The Clinton campaign did not announce the meetings or release any details.Â
