Donald Trump Just Asked Russia to Hack Hillary Clinton’s Email (Video)

In Scattershot Press Conference a Low-Energy Trump Denies Russian Ties

An uncharacteristically low-energy Donald Trump in a Wednesday rambling press conference invited Russia to engage in espionage by hacking into the email account of his Democratic presidential campaign opponent, just twelve hours after she officially won the Democratic nomination.

“It would be interesting to see, I will tell you this, Russia, if you’re listening I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,” Trump, speaking directly to Russia, told reporters a Florida news conference. “I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.”

The GOP nominee was referring to the hacking of the DNC servers several months ago, which cyber security experts believe was done by Russian hackers.

Trump in the same press conference also denied any tied to Russia, despite what his son, Donald Trump, Jr., had said. The GOP presidential nominee also denied having ever met Russian President Vladimir Putin, despite having claimed last year having met him in the Green Room when the two were profiled on CBS’ “60 Minutes.”
