UPDATING – Streaming Video: 60 Dead, 100 Injured in Nice by Truck Driving Into Bastille Day Crowd

A truck was driven directly into a crowd of people celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, France. Dozens are reportedly dead, and around 100 are reportedly injured in what appears to be an intentional attack. 

NOTE: Numbers are unconfirmed.

The city is now on lockdown and the mayor of Nice has ordered people to stay at home.

Reports state this event may not yet be over and could spread to other areas.

CNN reports “BFM-TV reported that police and the truck occupants exchanged gunfire.”

The mayor of Nice posted this tweet, whcih translated reads: “Dear nice, the driver of a truck appears to have made dozens of deaths. Stay for the moment to your home. More info to come.”

Brian Williams on MSNBC just stated the truck driver was reportedly driving in a “zig-zag pattern” as if to drive over people fleeing.
