BREAKING: Bernie Sanders Endorses Hillary Clinton for President

The Long-Awaited Endorsement From Former Rival Comes Less Than Two Weeks Before the Democratic Convention

Senator Bernie Sanders has just endorsed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for President. The two appeared on stage together in Portsmouth, New Hampshire late Tuesday morning for the first time since the last Democratic debate. After the primaries, Sanders had successfully advocated to include many of his positions into the Democratic platform.

“Secretary Clinton has won the Democratic nominating process, and I congratulate her for that. I intend to do everything I can to make sure she will be the next president of the United States. I have come here today not to talk about he past but to focus on the future,” Sanders said.

“I have come here to make it as clear as possible as to why I am endorsing Hillary Clinton,” Sanders said, “and why she must become our next President.”
