In this amusing but very relevant video posted to Vox’s YouTube channel, ACLU attorney Chase Strangio joins Vox Senior Correspondent and Producer Elizabeth Plank to discuss the issue of transgender people using bathrooms, an issue that has gripped our nation, thanks to right wing politicians like North Carolina’s GOP governor, Pat McCrory.
“Are you saying that these lawmakers are literally causing the problem that they say they want to avoid in the first place?,” Plank asks Strangio. “Yeah. That’s what I’m saying,” Strangio responds.
