Watch: Stephen Colbert Takes Down Trump’s Response to Orlando Terror Attack and It’s Awesome

‘Donald Trump Refuses to Be Politically Correct – and Just to Be Safe, He Refuses to Be Correct’

Tuesday night Stephen Colbert took on – and took down – Donald Trump and the brash billionaire’s response to the Orlando terror attack against the LGBT community. After reminding viewers how Trump’s first response in a tragedy is always to say, “I told you so,” Colbert played one of several clips showing Trump implying President Barack Obama somehow allowed or even wanted or, perhaps even somehow actively enabled the terror attack at Pulse.

When a reporter asked Trump to explain what he really meant, Trump responded he would “let people figure it out.”

So Stephen Colbert decided to “figure it out.” In a diagram.

“First of all, before I figure this out, I’ve got to think like Trump, so first, I’m not gonna take my meds,” Colbert said, tossing pills over his shoulder. “Woo! Ha ha! I see patterns where none exist!”

On a chalkboard with the words, “Trump,” “Obama,” “Muslim” “not smart,” “radical Islam,” “bad thing,” “inconceivable,” and “something going on,” Colbert connected the words to form a pattern.

We’ll leave it at that. You’ll get the message.
