Watch: Hillary Clinton Is Marching in the NYC Pride Parade

Presumptive Democratic Nominee Makes Unannounced Appearance

Hillary Clinton right now is marching in the New York City Pride Parade. The former U.S. Senator from New York is marching with fellow Democrats including New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and his wife, writer Chirlane McCray, Al Sharpton, Clinton supporter and actress Cynthia Nixon, and reportedly 32,000 other marchers. 

Over two million people are believed to be in attendance.

This is not Clinton’s first time at NYC Pride. As the nation’s First Lady, she marched in 2000:

This makes Clinton the first presumptive nominee of a major political party to have marched in a Pride parade. Barack Obama, as president or as a presidential candidate, according to The Washington Blade, is not believed to have marched in a Pride parade.
