Historic Meeting
Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders minutes ago walked into the Oval Office with President Barack Obama. Both were smiling and appeared to be joking and in good moods.
Their meeting will be private with no press allowed, although it is expected they will discuss the future of Sen. Sanders’ campaign. Neither is expected to speak with the press afterward.
Senator Sanders will also meet with Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid today, and later he will hold a rally in Washington, D.C.. He says he will continue to seek the nomination all the way to the convention in July.
