War Over ‘Pocahontas’ Takes New Turn

For months Donald Trump has been attacking Senator Elizabeth Warren by calling her “Pocahontas,” an attempt to both belittle the historical figure and the Democratic Senator because she has said a small portion of her lineage is Native American.

But now, one Warren supporter with a bad taste for Trump has obtained the domain Pocahontas.com, and redirected it to the Massachusetts Senator’s official campaign website, The Washington Post reports.

As recently as Friday Trump labeled Senator Warren, whose name is being widely discussed as a possible running mate for Hillary Clinton, as “Pocahontas,” saying he’s happy to apologize – not to the Senator, but to the historical figure (video above).

In response to Warren calling Trump a “thin-skinned, racist bully,” the billionaire real estate developer Friday tweeted:

After Trump on Thursday attacked Hillary Clinton for earning President Obama’s endorsement, the former Secretary of State responded, “Delete your account,” the ultimate Twitter-users’ put down.
