State Prosecutor Suspended Over Vile Facebook Statement Posted Hours After Orlando Terror Attack

Assistant State Attorney Kenneth Lewis Has Been in Trouble Before

A Florida prosecutor is in hot water after posting a vile statement to Facebook literally hours after a terrorist killed 49 people and injured another 53 at a gay Orlando nightclub. Assistant State Attorney Kenneth Lewis was suspended after the Florida Attorney’s Office learned of his remarks.

“Downtown Orlando has no bottom,” Lewis wrote on Facebook, according to WESH. “The entire city should be leveled. It is void of a single redeeming quality. It is a melting pot of 3rd world miscreants and ghetto thugs. It is void of culture,” he claimed.

“If you live down there you do it at your own risk and at your own peril. If you go down there after dark there is seriously something wrong with you. Disney does everything in its power to shield visitors of Disney from its northern blight. That doesn’t change reality. Disney may be the happiest place on earth but Orlando is a national embarassment. If this is an act of domestic terrorist [sic] it is so important that we don’t publish the religion, name, or motive of the terrorist as not to offend anyone.”

WESH reports the policy Lewis is accused of violating offers punishment of “discipline up to and including termination.”

Two years ago Lewis was ordered to undergo sensitivity training and was temporarily reassigned over comments he also made to Facebook. That incident involved his use of the term “crack hoe.”

“Happy Mothers day to all the crack hoes out there,” he wrote, according to Buzzfeed. “It’s never too late to turn it around, tie your tubes, clean up your life and make difference to someone out there that deserves a better mother.”
