Elizabeth Warren: ‘I’m Ready to Get in This Fight and Work My Heart Out for Hillary Clinton’ (Video)
Progressive Icon Officially Endorses Presumptive Democratic Nominee
U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren Thursday night officially endorsed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to be the next President of the United States. The Massachusetts Democrat says she waited until the primaries had sorted out a winner to endorse because she didn’t want to influence the electorate or the outcome.
“I am ready,†Warren told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow in an exclusive interview. “I am ready to get in this fight and work my heart out for Hillary Clinton to be the President of the United States.â€
Warren also said she is ready “to make sure that Donald Trump doesn’t get anywhere near the White House.”

The progressive icon who many feel is closer to Bernie Sanders in her political beliefs than Hillary Clinton, also said, “Hillary Clinton won. And she won because she’s a fighter, she’s tough, and this is what we need.â€
Warren has frequently been mentioned as a possible vice presidential running mate for Hillary Clinton. She told Rachel Maddow she is not currently being vetted.
But asked if she thought she was prepared to be a Commander in Chief, she easily and strongly responded, “Yes I do.”
