Sanders Gets Big Win From DNC
Candidate Will Get ‘Highly Unusual Say’ Over Democratic Platform
Senator Bernie Sanders will be given “highly unusual say” over the Democratic Party’s platform, the Washington Post is reporting. While the Chair of the Democratic National Committee usually chooses all 15 members of the platform writing committee, Sen. Sanders will now choose one-third, or five. Hillary Clinton will choose six, and Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz will choose the remaining four.

Both candidates agreed to the change, the Post reports.
This means that many of Sanders’ key positions, from minimum wage to college tuition to income and wealth inequality to getting money out of politics, and more, will likely become part of the Party’s agenda.
