Star Who Is the Voice of Elsa in Disney’s “Frozen” Says Elsa Should Get a Girlfriend

For months there’s been a campaign raging to get Disney to give Frozen’s Queen Elsa a girlfriend. Now, the star who is the voice of the Disney royal ruler of Arendelle says she agrees.

“I think it’s great,” Idina Menzel tells ET in the video above. “Disney’s just gotta contend with that. I’ll let them figure that out.”

“No matter what,” she says, she supports it.

Mashable reports the campaign #giveelsaagirlfriend was started by 17-year-old Alexis Isabel Moncada. She told NBC 12, “A lot of us see [Frozen] as a metaphor for coming out and accepting who you are.”
