Franklin Graham Is Totally Freaking Out That Frozen’s Elsa Might Get a Girlfriend

Anti-LGBT Activist Denounces ‘Moral Bankruptcy,’ Is Apoplectic America ‘Sinking Deeper Into Secularism’

Franklin Graham is freaking out. The anti-LGBT activist who uses Facebook almost daily to attack and demean LGBT people went on a tear this week, denouncing America’s “moral bankruptcy.” Was his concern the high rates of child food insecurity? Child homelessness? Poverty? Poor education rates of achievement? Divorce? Bullying? Perhaps the out-of-control college debt plaguing America’s young people? Donald Trump?

No.

LGBT people, of course.

“What happens when you remove biblical standards and leadership from a country?,” the son of Evangelical icon Rev. Billy Graham wrote on his Facebook page Monday. “Moral bankruptcy, that’s what. As our culture abandons its once cherished Judeo-Christian foundation and values, godly traditions disappear and we sink deeper into secularism.”

What does the disappearance of godly traditions look like to Franklin Graham? 

“Headlines every day reveal what a sad state we’re in. CBS News just reported that Caitlyn Jenner will pose nude for the cover of Sports Illustrated, draped only in his Olympic gold medal and an American flag. There’s a lot wrong with that picture!”

But that’s not the only issue that’s making Graham go ballistic.

“The New York Times just published a story asking ‘Should Prostitution be a Crime?’ because some want ‘full decriminalization of consensual sex work.'”

Horrors!

But of course, there’s more.

“And, as if that isn’t enough, our cartoons aren’t even immune!”

Heavens to Betsey!

“Disney’s ‘Frozen,’ the highest-grossing animated movie of all time, has some supporters calling for the heroine Elsa to have a lesbian girlfriend in the movie’s sequel,” Graham cries. 

“In the social media campaign for this, one proponent tweeted, ‘Little kids need to learn that there’s nothing wrong with being gay.’ What a lie! This reveals their agenda to get the LGBT message to young children and influence their lives. God calls His people to be salt and light in a dark world. Pray for our nation, and get involved by standing up for God’s truth and His righteousness.”

Of course, you’ve recognized Graham’s outrage has caused him to slip. He’s supposed to say that God loves all people, and it’s OK to be gay as long as you don’t act on it. But Graham now, in his outrage over Elsa, has announced it’s “a lie!” to say that “there’s nothing wrong with being gay.” Graham has broken the rule of the supposed enlightened branch of Christians, big time.

Franklin Graham believes it’s wrong to be gay. That’s a dangerous belief that leads to even more LGBTQ children and teens considering or attempting self harm or suicide.

And isn’t using your pulpit – in this case, his Facebook page with nearly 3.7 million Facebook fans – to advocate for positions that can lead to child harm the epitome of moral bankruptcy?
