Breaking: Bill Cosby Will Stand Trial on All Charges in 2004 Sexual Assault Case

A Pennsylvania Judge Rules Cosby Must Stand Trial

A Pennsylvania judge has just ruled that Bill Cosby must stand trial on all counts of a 2004 sexual assault case. The judge ruled there is sufficient evidence to move forward to trial. The prosecution argued the victim did not consent.

Attorney Gloria Allred, speaking immediately after today’s hearing, discussed the issue of consent, suggesting the victim was incapacitated and therefore unable to.

Allred said Cosby’s statement that was admitted into evidence was “damning.”

The next step is a July 20 arraignment. Cosby, who was arrested December 30, has been feee on $1 million bail. He faces 10 years in jail.
