Same Woman Who Denounced Transgender People Inside Target
A Christian preacher screaming at high school students was so upsetting and disruptive that school administrators and then local police were called to have her removed.Â
“How many of you are angels or demons out here?,â€Â the preacher yelled at the students of Scotia-Glenville High School in Scotia, New York, according to The Huffington Post. The YouTube video identifies her as Angela Cummings.
“The Bible says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. Many of you don’t have knowledge,†she yelled.
“You watch too much MTV, gangster music, and you live for the devil. Some of you even smoke pot! It’s time to repent. Turn to Jesus!â€
“You need to get saved. This Bible is what you need.”
Cummings appears to be the same woman who disrupted shoppers and employees at a Target store, verbally denouncing transgender people and Target’s restroom policies, quickly turned her religious venom to transgender people and same-sex marriage.
“Next year, Obama is going to let you men, you young men, use the girls’ bathroom,†she announced. “It’s time for you to start homeschooling!â€Â
She also claimed that students are having sex in high school bathrooms, which infuriated the school’s assistant principal.
“Why are you using vulgar comments to my students?,” Assistant Principal Thomas Fyvie said. “Shut your mouth about sex in the bathroom,†he added.
“There is sex in the bathroom,” Cummings retorted, in a very loud voice.
“Not in this school. Get your facts right about this school. You’re embarrassing yourself and you’re bothering my kids,â€Â Fyvie responded.Â
Cummings also called some of the students “future wife beaters.â€
Students seemed to have differing reactions. Most in the video seemed upset, angry, or bothered, trying to walk away or around Cummings. A few interacted, including one teenaged girl who was only too happy to let the screaming preacher know that she is an atheist.
