‘Who Does Obama Think He Is?’: Franklin Graham Freaks Out Over Transgender Students Directive
Anti-LGBT Activist Calls for Schools to Defy Obama Directive
Franklin Graham is freaking out over President Barack Obama‘s directive to protect transgender students in public schools. The 63-year old son of iconic Evangelical preacher Billy Graham is currently touring the nation, trying to convince Christians (yes, only Christians) to get out and vote in November.Â
“Who does President Barack Obama think he is? The sultan of Washington?,” Graham rhetorically asked his 3.7 million Facebook fans on Friday. “Does he think he can just make a ‘decree’ and we will bow down and simply obey?”
So much for “render unto Caesar”…
“The decree he released today,” Graham writes, referring to the Obama administration’s Friday directive to protect transgender students, “says that all schools across the country have to allow students to choose the restrooms and locker rooms according to ‘their internal sense of gender.’ If schools don’t comply, he threatens loss of funding and lawsuits from the federal government.”
“What about the privacy and protection of all the other students? Isn’t this discrimination against all of them?,” Well, in a word, “No.”
“This opens up bathrooms to sexual predators and perverts,” Franklin claims, falsely. And if it were true, why are schools allowing sexual predators and perverts to enter their walls and wander around restrooms? If that is true, then why isn’t anyone concerned about that?Â
“A decree does not carry the force of law–that’s the job of Congress,” Graham continues. “The president obviously must have no fear of God, who made us and created us male and female,” Graham decides, ignoring that if God made man and woman, he also made LGBT people.
“I hope that school districts across this nation will defy President Obama and his administration’s radical progressive agenda to promote and advance the sin of homosexuality and the LGBT agenda.”
Letting people pee is promoting and advancing sin?
Isn’t that what people said for decades about Jim Crow laws?
