Democrats Slam Republican Governor in New 30-Second TV Spot

Embattled Governor Pat McCrory has one more attack to defend. A 30-second TV spot slams the North Carolina Republican for signing HB2, an anti-LGBT law that has cost the state over a billion dollars in revenue, according to a news clip in the ad.

The 30-second spot “is part of a six-figure ad buy that started airing in Charlotte Friday morning, according to the Democratic Governors Association, which teamed up with the super PAC North Carolina Families First for the ad campaign,” the Huffington Post reports.

The ad concludes with the tag line: “Pat McCrory. He’s taking North Carolina backwards.”

It’s a sentiment many across not just the Tar Heel State but across the nation support.
