WATCH: Ted Cruz Releases New Transphobic Ad Calling Trump The ‘PC Police’

Cruz’s Vile Video Calls Transgender Women Men ‘Pretending’ to Be Women

Ted Cruz Thursday released a 30-second transphobic, fear-mongering video attacking Donald Trump as a member of the “PC police” after the GOP frontrunner came out against North Carolina’s anti-LGBT law HB2.

“Should a grown man pretending to be a woman be allowed to use the women’s restroom?,” it asks, via bold graphics. “The same restroom used by your daughter? Your wife?”

The black-and-white ad is silent until that point, when it plays a short clip of Trump’s comments Thursday morning supporting the right of transgender people to use the restroom “they think is appropriate.”

“Donald Trump thinks so,” the graphics continue. “It’s not appropriate, it’s not safe,” the transphobic ad claims.

“It’s PC nonsense that’s destroying America.”

“Donald Trump won’t take on the PC Police,” it accuses. “He’s one of them,” it charges, astonishingly, of the man who has managed to offend and attack nearly every minority, plus women, since his campaign launched last June.

Earlier on Thursday Cruz told Glenn Beck his “five-year-old knows the difference between boys and girls.”

“You’ve got the Obama education department suing to try to force junior highs to let teenage boys shower with teenage girls,” Cruz told Beck. “That’s crazy. That’s not a reasonable position, and it is simply crazy.”

Cruz labeled opposition to North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory’s anti-LGBT law “the lunacy of political correctness.”

He added, “there are some bad people in the world, and we shouldn’t be facilitating putting little girls alone in a bathroom with grown adult men. That is just a bad, bad, bad idea.”
