On First Day of Legislative Session Grassroots Activists and Civil Rights Groups Demand Action
Right now hundreds of equality advocates and LGBT activists are rallying in front of North Carolina‘s Old State Capitol Building demanding lawmakers repeal HB2. The anti-LGBT law has created chaos in the Tar Heel State, cost well-over a half billion dollars in business and several thousand jobs. It has also maligned the state’s reputation, caused the UK to issue a travel warning, and stripped citizens of their civil rights.
