Fox News’ Megyn Kelly Has Received Death Threats Since Trump’s Feud Began (Video)
Host Worries ‘Someone’s Going to Try to Hurt Me in the Presence of My Children’
Fox News host Megyn Kelly kicked off the very first GOP debate of the 2016 presidential campaign season last year by asking Donald Trump if his misogynistic comments about women are presidential.
“You’ve called women you don’t like ‘fat pigs,’ ‘dogs,’ ‘slobs,’ and ‘disgusting animals.’ Does that sound to you like the temperament of a man we should elect as president?,” Kelly had asked Trump.
Since then, the GOP frontrunner has repeatedly attacked her, often on Twitter, but even on other Fox News shows.Â
He has dubbed her, “Crazy Megyn,†and labeled her “sick†and “highly overrated.â€
In an interview that aired Sunday, CBS News’ Charlie Rose asked Kelly, “Have there been threats against your life?”
Kelly’s response was non-verbal, but the look she gave strongly suggested a “yes” answer, something other media outlets also reported as a yes.
“It’s how he gins up anger among so many. So it manifests in my life in several ways,” Kelly told Rose on “CBS Sunday Morning.”
“It’s not that I’m worried someone’s actually going to come shoot me down. But I do worry someone’s going to try to hurt me in the presence of my children.”
