GOP Presidential Candidate Had Called For More Violence Hours Earlier
Donald Trump denies any responsibility for the outburst of protesting and violence at a Friday evening rally in Chicago, just hours after he called for more violence from his supporters to be directed at protestors, and one St. Louis protestor was hauled off in an ambulance beaten and bloodied.
“I don’t take responsibility,” Trump told CNN’s Don Lemon Friday night. Lemon had asked, “Do you think that you bear any responsibility for what’s happened tonight and at other rallies?”
The GOP frontrunner said that no one has “been hurt at our rallies,” just two days after one 26-year old protestor in police custody was sucker-punched by a 78-year old Trump supporter.

Trump repeated the same claim he’s made over the past few days that one protestor, presumably the 26-year old in North Carolina, was “swinging,” despite the fact that several journalists embedded with the Trump campaign have said they have never seen violence from any protestor.
He went on attempting to minimize the level of violence at his rallies, noting that in St. Louis today there was one incident but it was “not a big deal.”

About 30 minutes after he was scheduled to take to a Chicago stage Friday night, Donald Trump canceled his rally after a large number of protestors showed up and violence broke out.
