Florida Senator Loses Florida Primary, Exits Presidential Race With Little to Show
Marco Rubio has lost the Republican primary of his home state of Florida. Rubio came in second, to Donald Trump.
In his speech Tuesday night, Rubio spoke about the Tea Party wave that brought him into the U.S. Senate in 2010. He complained that the “political establishment” has looked down on conservatives, and claimed he has tried to “bridge that divide.”
Rubio talked about a “conservative movement that believes in strong Judaeo-Christian values.”
