Breaking: Donald Trump Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski Charged In Assault Case

Conservative News Reporter Filed Charges After He Allegedly Grabbed Her Arm

Donald Trump‘s Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski has been charged with simple battery in a case involving a now-former Breitbart reporter, Michelle Fields. Fields filed charges against Lewandowski, saying that on March 8 he grabbed her arm and left bruises while she was trying to cover the Trump campaign. The arrest was made just after 8:00 AM EDT.

The Palm Beach Post reports the arrest was confirmed by Jupiter Police, adding that “Washington Post reporter Ben Terris wrote that he witnessed the battery.” 

Lewandowski appears in the above photo, on the left, to Donald Trump’s right.

The Trump campaign has already issued a statement:
