Watch This Adorable Video Of Pres. Obama Sharing Valentine’s Wishes With Michelle – Thanks To Ellen
‘I Obamacare About You More Than You Even Know’
President Barack Obama took time out of his busy schedule to stop by Ellen DeGeneres’ show, and received a special surprise – a lovely Valentine’s Day message from the First Lady, arranged by Ellen, of course. And of course, not to be outdone, the President had an adorable message to share with Michelle Obama too – thanks in part to Ellen as well.
“Roses are red, violets are blue. You are the president, and I am your boo,” First Lady Michelle Obama said, lovingly, after jokingly calling Ellen “honey.” She also wished both Ellen and her wife, Portia de Rossi, a Happy Valentine’s Day too.
Then it was time for the President.
“Somebody call the Situation Room because things are about to get hot,” Obama said as he stood between vases of flowers, in front of very red velvet drapes.
“Michelle, this Valentine’s Day I’m going to treat you right. I’m going to make you some zucchini bread,” the President quipped. “Then I’ll spread out some veggies on a plate just the way you like them,†he added.
“Because I love you so much, I Obamacare about you more than you even know,” the President joked.
Once the tongue-in-cheek jokes were over, he offered a more sincere Valentine’s Day message.
“Michelle, I’ve made a lot of great decisions as president. The best decision I ever made was choosing you. Thanks for putting up with me. I love you.â€

TODAY notes the First Family “will spend Valentine’s Day apart this year, with the president staying the weekend in California to prepare for a meeting Monday of Southeast Asian leaders.”
What do you think? Most adorable couple in the White House in years?
