Trump Unleashes Twitter Rant, Deletes Tweet Accusing Cruz Of ‘Illegally’ Stealing Iowa

Former GOP Frontrunner Wants Do-Over

Donald Trump clearly expected to win the Iowa Caucuses. He had every reason to: all the polls, and even the highly-accurate statistician Nate Silver told him he probably would. So when Ted Cruz beat Trump, Trump mulled his loss for a day then unleashed his fury. By tweeting.

Trump this morning accused Cruz of “illegally” stealing first place by committing “fraud,” and said he thinks there should be a do-over or Cruz’s results should be “nullified.”

Here’s the tweet Trump apparently deleted, as posted by Business Insider reporter Colin Campbell:

Trump then reposted it, sans the dangerous “illegally” portion:

He then went after Cruz for the highly unethical claim his campaign put out stating Ben Carson was quitting the race:

The Donald also slammed Cruz for telling caucus goers that Trump is pro-choice and pro-Obamacare.

Business Insider’s Campbell notes that at “a rally on Tuesday night, Trump repeated his attacks about the legality of Cruz’s candidacy for president, saying that he was ‘born in Canada’ and warning that if he locks down the Republican nomination, Democrats are ‘going to sue his a– off.'”
